Sopris Mural 2024

 As part of the national day of service on 9/11, the fourth and fifth graders helped start a school wide mural! I wanted to create a bright and visible mural on the side of the shed facing the playground. As the Sopris eagles, I had inspiration. I wanted to involve the entire school. The whole school, teachers, staff and students added their mark with their hand prints. Here are pictures of the progress and the final design. Thanks to all of the students and staff that participated! 

 Como parte del día nacional de servicio del 9/11, ¡los alumnos de cuarto y quinto grado ayudaron a comenzar un mural en toda la escuela! Quería crear un mural brillante y visible en el lado del cobertizo que da al patio de recreo. Como las águilas de Sopris, tenía inspiración. Quería involucrar a toda la escuela. Toda la escuela, profesores, personal y alumnos añadieron su marca con las huellas de sus manos. Aquí están las fotos del progreso y el diseño final. ¡Gracias a todos los alumnos y al personal que participaron!
